  Recital at the 2025 ISB Convention

  Szymon is premiering 3 new works for Double-Bass at the 2025 Convention of the International Society of Bassists. Sharing stage with his his long-time musical partners, pianists Jongsuk Kim and Evan Mitchell.

  The recital program, entitled "Past, Present and the Future", focuses on some rising-star young composers and their new works for double-bass with piano as well as solo. "Partita Surreale" for solo-bass by Polish Tomasz Skweres (*1984) as well as "Ebony Fantasy" for bass and piano by Italian Alessio Manega (*1990) are receiving world-premieres. Another work, "Vocalize" for bass and piano by south-korean JungAh Lee (*2001) is being premiered in the US.
